This brief outlines strategies and lessons the Yuba Liberation Coalition learned throughout the years, with the intention of assisting other campaigns focused on liberation and the closure of detention centers.​

An investigation into the human rights violations and inhumane conditions at the Yuba County Jail. Brief includes background information on Yuba County, details about the contract between ICE and Yuba County Jail, and the depopulation efforts from legal service providers, organizers and the community.

Investigation of multiple complaints around food conditions from individuals detained at Mesa Verde Detention Facility and Golden State Annex – ranging from lack of  nutritious food to receiving spoiled milk, finding cockroaches in their trays, and special health and religious diets not being respected.

Research on the role of bodyguards in Colombia (specifically in the eighties and nineties) through the story of José del Cristo Huertas Hastamorir, Álvaro Gomez Hurtado's bodyguard. This investigation culminates in a short novel, product of constant dialogue between literature and journalism, in which José del Cristo's story is told through the voices of his family and friends and scenes are recreated thanks to historical archive from Colombian newspaper, El Espectador.
